TNT Fiscal Intermediary Services, Inc. is a company dedicated to providing F/EA services and supporting people with developmental disabilities and their families.  We believe strongly and embrace the philosophy of self-determination and self-direction which ensures that people with disabilities are allowed to access resources that ensure equality, respect and independence over their lives.  Properly performing the F/EA duties requires an extensive understanding of the myriad of state and federal tax and employment laws that govern all employers.  TNT’s 20 years of experience in payroll and tax related matters assure our F/EA clients of our competence and efficiency in this complex area of service.  

TNTFI was formed for the sole purpose of providing F/EA services to individuals with developmental disabilities and has the background and experience to provide the highest level of services to the individuals served. We have developed a service culture within our organization that reflects our core values and our brand promise.  Our core values were built around the understanding that our customers are not professionals and rely on us to assist them in performing their duties as an employer and to manage their own care, supports and funding.  

The role of an F/EA is to assist a consumer in their duties as an employer. This is an important aspect of self-direction because a consumer retains all aspects of direction and control (hire, fire, direction of work performed) over their employees. We believe that each process performed within TNTFI, from the forms and information we provide to the consumers, employers, & providers, and the payroll and vendor payments we process, helps the consumer to fulfill these principles of self-determination and we take our role very seriously.  

Providing F/EA services starts and ends with the capacity to assist these consumers to learn and carry out their responsibilities as participants. This is done by providing clear instructions and written materials in a variety of alternative formats.
